On the International Children's Day on June 1, the Ningbo and Asian Sister Cities Children's Painting Competition, jointly sponsored by the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting and Tourism, was held in Ningbo Library.
The theme of the exhibition is "seeing + powerful", and 87 paintings are selected from the works of Chinese and foreign children.
Children showed their playful creativity and imagination via paintings, conveying to the world the courage and determination to unite and cooperate, overcome difficulties and look forward to the future, and fully demonstrated the vigor of the youth generation with full energy.
Since the competition was held, nearly 600 works from 8 Asian sister cities including Haiphong City in Vietnam, Daegu City in South Korea, Ulaanbaatar City in Mongolia, Masuda City in Japan, Nagaokakyo City in Japan and Sihanoukville Province in Cambodia, as well as 2 friendly organizations in Indonesia and Nepal have been selected and sent to the competition.
These works allow every visitor to appreciate the exotic local customs, traditional culture and the profound friendship between countries and cities.
